Using the theme "SCHOTT ROBAX® Gallery", the company will show how it is responding to the current trends of home comfort and sustainability. On display: the ROBAX® Night Design portfolio provides a more comfortable atmosphere and a more beautiful play of flames. The semi-transparent black glass-ceramic ROBAX® NightFlame allows a familiar atmospheric play of flames when the wood fireplace is on. In the off state, it almost completely hides the view of ash and soot in the combustion chamber. The tinted glass-ceramic ROBAX® NightView is ideal for pellet stoves. When on, it dims the glaring flames, creating a quieter impression similar to that of a wood fire. In the off state, it emphasizes the elegance of the stove thanks to the dead-front effect.

 

Angular bent ROBAX® fire-viewing panels allow a panoramic view of the fire from several sides creating an almost optimal campfire atmosphere. Especially

ROBAX® with IDEAL Bending Edge helps fireplace manufacturers to realize complex fireplace designs with narrow frames or even without frames. As the curvature on the bending edge can be significantly reduced, it is mechanically more resistant (compared to a standard ROBAX® bending edge) and easier to install in the frame structures. This significantly improves the visual impression of the bending edge and enhances frameless designs.

 

Also at the SCHOTT booth you will be able to find inspiration on the subject of sustainability: ROBAX® IR SuperMax is the latest heat-reflective coating from SCHOTT and part of the ROBAX® Smart Heat portfolio. The IR coating reflects significantly more heat radiation back into the combustion chamber than uncoated ROBAX® panels. The resulting significantly higher temperatures in the combustion chamber enable a strong improvement in the efficiency of the combustion process. This can help to prevent overheating of the living space, and it can also reduce emissions from the fireplace.
