Over 240 exhibitors and brands presented their attractive new products and innovations at the premiere event from 17 to 19 April 2023.
WORLD OF FIREPLACES focused on topics related to fireplaces and living ambience and is establishing itself as the 'Fireplace to be'.
The focus is on the product groups: Stoves, fireplaces, heating systems, ethanol fires, imitation fires, flue systems, emission reduction technologies, ceramics, boiler and storage technology, control technology, smart home and accessories.
Internationality of the exhibitors
Globally active companies, established SMEs, big brands or smart newcomers from the industry meet at WORLD OF FIREPLACES in Leipzig.
In 2023, 57.7 percent of the exhibitors came from Germany and 42.3 percent from abroad, from a total of 25 countries.
How successful was your trade fair appearance
43 percent of the exhibitors rated the trade fair appearance as very good and 40 percent as good. 83 percent of the exhibitors plan to exhibit again, and the same number of companies rated the quality of the contacts as good and very good. 36 percent consider the relevance of WOF in the industry to be very good and 47 percent good.
Number of visitors
The popularity of the fair was overwhelming. More than 8,140 trade visitors from over 60 countries visited the trade fair.
The WORLD OF FIREPLACES offers fireplace and stove manufacturers, the entire trade, specialist markets, retailers, chimney sweeps, architects, interior designers, energy consultants, fuel retailers, housing associations, media representatives and bloggers an exceptional platform.
Trade visitors by origin
8,135 trade visits from around 60 countries
In addition to trade visitors from Germany, the WORLD OF FIREPLACES mainly attracted guests from the Netherlands, Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, Italy and Sweden. About one hundred visits each were realised during the trade fair days by industry specialists from Switzerland, Belgium, the UK, France, Denmark and Norway. In addition, there were also visitors from far away in Leipzig - the statistics show the nations Israel, Australia, China, the USA, Canada, Mongolia, Ghana, the United Arab Emirates and South American countries.
Trade visitors by profession
The main target group was fireplace and stove builders and studios with two thirds of the visitors. Tiled stove and ventilation installers and chimney sweeps were the next most important groups seeking business contacts in Hall 5 and the outdoor area, with seven and six percent respectively. Exhaust gas technicians, HVAC tradesmen and representatives of other trades, energy consultants and architects were also important clientele who made intensive use of the WORLD OF FIREPLACES for networking and negotiating. Last but not least, the decision-makers from building and electrical markets as well as cooperations should be mentioned, who are statistically less important in purely quantitative terms, but who bundle a large market and sales volume.
